We have developed our own unique and successful, species-specific techniques to break dormancy and induce germination for mass quantities of seeds. We have also created methods of seed storage that have greatly reduced degradation of seed by fungus and insects. We utilize a sophisticated taxonomic system that then tracks species genetics along with collection date. Media mixes and sowing occur in a state-of-the-art sowing machine. This result is consistent filling containers and little seed is wasted.

Careful watering in our mist houses, for the appropriate amount of time, is critical for both seeds and vegetative cuttings. A consistent watering regime, care, and supplemental nutrition all contribute to a production of the healthiest seedlings.

Trays of seedling tubes are moved to benches with tracks, mounted in such a way as to allow for easy and labor-efficient movement through our six-acre nursery.
