Seedlings are produced in small reusable tubes. The tubes have grooves that promote root growth in a straight, downward direction. Once in the ground, the seedlings grow at a faster rate than those that have bound roots. This saves time and money since smaller, less expensive seedlings can be used with the same long-term results.

Virgin growing media is always used to ensure the disease-free condition of the seedlings. Considering that many fungal diseases are soil-borne, starting disease-free is an important part of keeping a clean operation.
